Professional Women’s Network for Service, Inc. is a voluntary organization whose purposes are to work toward coordination and cooperation on matters of vital interest to women, youth, and the community. PWNS partners with organizations of like interest to insure the greatest impact on improving the quality of life for people in the community through the arts, education, and worldwide initiatives.
Assist parents and educators to empower children and youth to develop skills that promote life-long learning. Provide early literacy experiences for children from birth to 6 years old in the areas of cognitive skills, motor skills, and social and emotional development.
Address global and national issues with regard to education, health, and poverty that relate to woman and children.
Preserve the heritage and culture of African Americans by implementing and establishing exhibits, programs, and curriculum that show the contributions of African Americans from 1854 to the present. To ensure that Wisconsin citizens and tourists understand the united efforts of people of different cultures in the cause of justice and freedom during the Underground Railroad era in Wisconsin.
